THE BENEFITS OF DISCIPLESHIP | E-LIFE REFLECTION

Paul’s second missionary journey began – Luke mentioned that from Antioch in Syria, Paul and Silas journeyed first to Derbe and then to Lystra. Even though Paul’s first journey to Lystra was eventful (Acts 14:6-18), he saw positive results during his second journey. Paul came across a young disciple named Timothy who became his mentee, his son and later his companion in ministry. Paul and Silas also instructed to the believers to follow the decisions from the Council of Jerusalem. This strengthen the faith of the believers and brought great increase to the churches. Beloved, discipleship is key and it has great benefits.
