In today’s passage, Paul commended Timothy in his letter as one who had distinguished himself and showed genuinely care about the welfare of Paul and the Philippian Church. Unlike others Timothy was concerned for the cause of Christ and others rather than his own affairs. As a son, his support for Paul in the ministry of the gospel was exceptional. Beloved, how well do we care about the needs of others – at home, Church or market place?
